Hey Randy,
Just saw your Sawtooth series popping up under new deviations and clicked through to check it out. The Sawtooth shots remind me of when I used to hike up in the Desolation Wilderness above Tahoe. Beautiful country. Your landscapes are wonderful for remembering that area. Something tells me they weren't taken recently though, or there'd be a wee bit more snow. :) I spent a little time in your gallery checking out the different states you've been to - I recognized a few locations (i.e. in California). Way cool! I'm assuming the shots are stitched together? Nice work. ~ Steve :headbang:

Thanks. Sorry for the delay in responding. I started taking panos around LA where I grew up and around Arizona, but my panorama photography didn't take off until I moved to Idaho and started exploring it and the rest of the Northwest. The panoramas are stitched in Photoshop.

I like your landscapes :)

Hey there..

I wanted to start taking a few panorama photos and you seem to have it down to an art :P

If you don't mind me asking what programs do you use to combine the photos after they have been taken.?
:iconerality:
Hey, sorry I didn't see your comment until now. I used to stitch everything by hand in Photoshop using layer masks. But now that Photoshop CS3 has a good pano-stitching program, I use that instead. I take way too many panos now to stitch them by hand. Posted over a hundred from just this summer.
